Friday?

So. Friday is here. Nothing new. Another Friday come...another Friday gone. The weeks are starting to mesh together. No real separation. Man I need a vacation.

So. Hear me out. Driving down the street to work. Large street. Light traffic. Four lanes divided by a double-lined, one lane's width median.

You're driving along...when an emergency vehicle, let's say an ambulance, approachs you from the opposite direction. Do you slow down and pull over to the side?!? I think not. You are not in their way. Why would you yield?! Now if we were on a 2-way street with no median, I do believe I would yield. I just don't see the neccesity under the above described circumstances.

Along the same lines, if a school bus has stopped on the opposite side of said street, must I stop? They do have the flashing retractable bidirectional stop sign thingy, but again, I don't see why it would require me to stop! Vent...take a deep breath...now I feel better:)

The only reason I make mention of these trivial subjects is because I experience the above scenarios quite often on the way to work on the morning. Was just thinking that I'd get some other peoples' take on it. Let me know what you think:)

the words we use sometimes are misconstrued...
i won't guess what's coming next
